The liquid krypton calorimeter for experiment CERN-NA48

A quasi-homogeneous liquid krypton electromagnetic calorimeter is under construction for a precision study of CP violation in neutral kaons decays. The main characteristics of the detector are discussed, together with results on energy, space and time resolution obtained with a prototype detector.
